The Goat Bar & Restaurant, located in the heart of beautiful Goatstown, Dublin 14 is the perfect venue for all of your function requirements. Whether you’re planning the work Christmas party, Birthday Celebrations, an engagement party, or a Communion/Confirmation, we have the facilities to cater.
Our Function Coordinator: Emily is always on hand to discuss all function requirements, and our team of experienced chefs can create a specifically tailored menu for your function based on your individual preferences. We understand the importance of each function and work to ensure that every detail is flawless regardless of whether we are catering for a small or a grand function.
The Goat has two dedicated functions rooms, The Drumaville Suite & The Anvil Room, as well as our large ‘Stirrups’ restaurant area, so we can suit your party easily and comfortably no matter what the party size! We also have ample free car parking for all of your guests.
As far as function food is concerned, we can tailor this to suit your budget and requirements. We have plenty of food options for your party, including two to four course sit down meal options, hot and cold buffet food and Summer BBQ options. We can take the stress out of organising the smaller details, by assisting with music, entertainment and decoration hire. Planning a themed event? Our function rooms can be fully decorated for a more specialist occasion such as a race night or a casino night, room decoration, menu personalization etc. And then on the date of your function, our friendly and efficient staff will ensure your night is complete by providing the best service in Dublin!
The Goat “Stirrups” Restaurant:
The Goat Restaurant is the main restaurant at the Goat Grill. This dining area has been recently refurbished with luxurious leather seats and couches with elegant carpets to match. Our restaurant area can cater for small to medium sized groups of 10 to 50 guests with various private areas depending on your personal preference.
The Anvil Room:
Our Anvil function room is located on the main ground floor of The Goat it has a capacity of 70 guests for a sit down meal function and up to 150 guests for a non-sit down meal function. It is a lovely bright room which for a daytime function has plenty of natural daylight, it has its own private bar and restroom facilities and also has an outdoor heated smoking area and access to outdoor barbeque area. The room has excellent TV and audio facilities and is wheelchair accessible. The Anvil Room is perfect for a wedding ceremony with it’s natural brick wall and conservatory window surrounding. We can help you with arranging your HSE registration and on the day we can cater for your reception meal and wedding celebrations in our Drumaville Suite.
The Drumaville Suite:
Our Drumaville Suite is located upstairs at The Goat, above the main bar area. It has a capacity of 120 guests for a fully seated function and up to 300 guests for a less formal function where non all guests need to be seated. It is decorated to a very high standard and has its own private bar and restroom facilities. The room has excellent TV and audio facilities and the furniture with the room can be adapted to suit your requirements. The Drumaville Suite is the perfect private space for 30th Birthday Celebrations, Wedding Day 2 parties and everything in between!
Christmas is just around the corner – but our team has planned the perfect Christmas night for you and your team, so you don’t have to worry about a thing! Our Christmas Party Nights take place in our Drumaville Suite as a shared party night! Starting off the night with a Drinks Reception, before settling in to a festive four course set menu! End the night off with our Live Band WOW & DJ until late.
The Beer Garden:
Our fully covered and heated Beer Garden can cater for groups of 60 people. This beautifully bright space is flooded with natural light, making it the perfect space for a daytime event. Our Beer Garden has it’s own Bar, serving all our signature cocktails. Our team can assist with organising arrival drinks for your group, or help with arranging a bar tab and drinks tokens for your next event.
